HEATHER BIRD

Founder

​

First moved to Whyalla in 1967. She has been practicing as a
Conveyancer for almost 40 years now and ran and owned two practices during that
time – Properte Conveyances in Adelaide which was one of the biggest
conveyancing firms in the South and Whyalla Conveyancers. She has owned
Whyalla Conveyancers since 1988 and with Whyalla Conveyancers celebrating it’s
50 th Anniversary last year she is very proud to say that she has been a large part of
that Business for majority of those years.

Besides being a Registered Conveyancer, Heather is a certified Practising
Accountant, holds diplomas in Taxation and Corporations Law, Local Government
Law and for many years held a General Builders Licence building over 400 homes in
South Australia.

She is a Laison committee member with the AAIC, appointed as one of only a few
Fellow members of the AAIC and assists in lecturing and educating newly qualified
Conveyancers to increase their skills and knowledge. She is also a Board Advisory
Committee member for Pexa.

Having been involved in Property Development herself, she is well versed in Land
Divisions, Community Titles and Property Development, has assisted dozens of
Councils with their STEDS schemes and specialised areas of Easements and Land
acquisitions as well as the more intricate and specialised areas of Property
Transfers.

Heather takes great pride in the fact that Whyalla Conveyancers is very different to
the majority of Conveyancing firms in that both her and her staff have a very “hands
on” attitude and approach. Our clients are very important to us and Always come
first. We encourage all our clients to come into the office and meet with us, ask as
many questions as they want, no matter how trivial they may seem. Buying or selling
a property is a huge decision, it can be quite daunting and very traumatic so we try
and make that transition as stress free and as smooth as possible.

Terry has worked in the administration and reception field for many years in the UK before moving to Australia and setting down roots in Whyalla. Terry has a natural ability to focus on our clients' needs and ensure our clients' conveyancing journey is as seamless and stress-free as possible.

Kaden Has been working with us for 3 years now and has shown nothing but commitment and dedication to the team and company. Kadens instinctive capability to focus on data input and his archiving knowhow allows him to track, record and obtain information critical for the rest of conveyancing process. He has just recently enrolled in the Diploma of Conveyancers and already has a good grasp of Real Estate Law.

Mingyon has over 15 years of experience in Administration and Conveyancing. Mingyon Completed advanced certificates in Business Management, Neural Linguistic Programming, Graphology and Counselling and recently has completed her Advanced Diploma in Conveyancing. Mingyon is always ready to help and assist our clients with anything they may need when buying or selling their properties.

TYSON BIRD

Our in-house IT

Tyson is the youngest of our team but has been involved in Conveyancing for many years working and helping our family business. Tyson manages all our advertising and the website, and you will often see his name pop up if you are on Facebook, twitter or linkden. Without him managing our computers and constant IT questions we would not function.
